Job Profile :Commercial Finance Manager
A business partner to commercial teams, the Commercial Finance Manager role is primarily responsible for providing commercial/financial insights regarding BU profitability whilst ensuring effective return on investment across all spend items. Lead the business plan process, in coordination with BU managers and provide business plan reports, strategic forecast plans, feasibility studies & analysis to identify & interpret financial & non-financial risks in order to enable management to improve existing performance in line with business objectives Business Support
- Support & manage day-to-day commercial operations
- Execute of business strategy including marketing, selling, and profitability improvement
- Analyze KPI's to understand potential growth areas and areas of the business where opportunities exist.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, establish KPI targets and to provide variance analysis
- Understanding of product portfolio and various customer applications
Sales, Pricing, and Margin Management :
- Understand market trends, dynamics, price/volume trends, outlooks, recommend actions that lead to profitable growth
- Assess markets risk and the impact on pricing and inventory management
- Support sales/marketing with analysis aimed at customer retention, pricing, business at risk, new business and business lost impacts
- Development of pricing strategies and management of pricing process
- Determine, validate and communicate quotes, credits and pricing to business teams
- Manage new business pipeline reporting and assess impact of new opportunities on the business portfolio
- Evaluate customer incentive plans (rebates/trade promotions)
- On-going margin analysis, root cause categorization
- Optimize cost and understanding all cost drivers and their impact
