Job Description :
Essential Responsibilities :
In this role, you will:
- Develop deep commercial expertise across one or more regions, business units, markets, sales processes, and/or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute on strategic imperatives and deliver outcomes.
- Partner with sales managers, field sales personnel, and sales enablement leaders to evaluate and improve functional processes using Lean methodology.
- Assist in the roll-out of new concepts and processes for strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with stakeholders and partners to define, measure, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement of processes and digital tool value.
- Act as a strategic partner to Commercial Leadership and digital engineering teams to provide process and voice of customer (VoC) insights and defined actions, based upon interactions with field end users and interpretation of data.
- Utilize available reporting stack (Salesforce.com, Edison) to design/utilize reports and dashboards to provide commercial intelligence and insight, in partnership with Digital engineering & technical product management teams.
- Act as a key subject matter expert for how the business utilizes commercial tools that are in your scope.
- Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs. Engage frequently with end users & stakeholders to provide solutions aligned to persona needs.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward manner.
- Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer / stakeholders, technical product managers, and development team
- Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends, and is considered an internal expert on the processes and products as well as the associated competitive landscape
- Actively measure and review adoption/usage for key products and partner with technical product managers to ensure feature/product alignment to business process & benefit/outcome. Drive measurement of these outcomes through W2W product lifecycle.
- Mentor junior team members
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Minimum 5+ Years of experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Certified Lean Expert, Black Belt or Master Black Belt (and/or experience working with Lean principles)
- Background in influencing cross-functional teams toward execution of a strategic initiative.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Ability to understand how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall initiative success.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Experience working with Commercial tools such as Salesforce.com and Apttus
- Experience with Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools
- Experience working with a field sales force and/or with Commercial process
