Commercial Credit Analyst/Senior Analyst

Designation - Analyst / Senior Analyst

Experience required - 3 to 7 years

Location - Gurgaon

Joining - Immediate to 30 days.

Qualification - CA / MBA (Finance), Bcom

Shift Timing - 10 AM to 7 PM / 12 PM to 9 PM

Job Responsibilities:

- Spreading and analyzing financials statements which would include a review of various financial statements, such as balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, and statement of changes in equity.

- Evaluate the financial performance of companies/borrowers/guarantors based on a variety of factors including past and current performance, management projections, and market changes over the time period.

- Prepare ability to pay analysis and collateral valuation

- Determine appropriate risk rating, both qualitative and quantitative-based on performance during the review time period and compare it against the bank's credit guidelines.

- Document and synthesize findings based on above-mentioned reviews into a credit report.

- Quality check of work performed by other team members and provide appropriate feedback.

- Training & mentoring resources along with reviewing, checking & overseeing and undertaking workload planning as well.

- Understand the feedback received from the onshore team members and disseminate the same to the team.

- Team handling and leading/co-leading a team

- Preparation and publishing of weekly/ monthly reports and trackers internally as well as to the client

- Client interaction on weekly/bi-weekly calls

- Attention to detail and highlight all important details to maintain accuracy

Qualifications Required:

- Chartered accountants/MBA Finance (mandatory) and Bachelor's Degree (Commerce mandatory), equivalent.

- Most recent experience must include min 3-7 years in the commercial lending domain which includes financial spreading and financial analysis.

- Should have experience in spreading of Corporate's Financial Statements in the client application

- Should have experience in assessing creditworthiness of the corporate borrowers based on qualitative and quantitative factors

- Strong knowledge of GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards

- Sound knowledge of ratio analysis, cash flow, and trend analysis.

- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance, Industry analysis, Internal and external risk factors of the borrower

- Understanding of the Company's management and equity sponsors strengths & weaknesses.

- Sound understanding of Pro forma adjustments based on the projected financial information and spread accordingly in the tool

- Excellent report writing skills

- Excellent communication skills
