Command Centre Head - Transportation

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Control Tower Head to spearhead our control tower operations for India's pioneering fleet. This leadership role entails ensuring the smooth and secure operation of trucks in transit. Key responsibilities include establishing and overseeing a command centre that operates around the clock to supervise and monitor our fleet effectively.

Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for creating comprehensive SOPs for the command centre to ensure efficient and effective operations.

2. Oversee the tracking and monitoring of trucks to ensure optimal operation and adherence to safety protocols.

3. Coordinate with relevant authorities to manage accident and incident responses, ensuring timely and appropriate actions.

4. Manage responses to truck breakdowns, collaborating with maintenance teams to facilitate prompt repairs and minimize downtime.

5. Monitor truck progress and collaborate with the team to optimize routes, ensuring efficient deliveries and reducing travel time.

6. Ensure efficient monitoring of loading and unloading processes to maximize productivity and minimize delays.

7. Enforce speed limits and promote safe driving practices among truck operators to enhance safety and minimize accidents.

8. Collaborate with the team to monitor fuel consumption, optimize fuel mileage, and effectively manage operational costs.

9. Work with the IT team to enhance processes and technologies, continuously improving the command centre's performance.
