Summary Comcast manages a world class vendor ecosystem that delivers best in class performance while meeting all safety, security, and compliance requirements. We are looking for a talented and dedicated Sr. VMO analyst to support IT Supplier Management functions of Comcast. This role will ensure that the required workflows are built in Aravo to ensure that the supplier adheres to Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and various other requirements defined in our policies
Core Responsibilities This role will be a key member of the Enterprise Supplier Management function, which is a part of the Comcast Enterprise Procurement team. The role entails managing supplier performance, supplier governance, spend analytics, market research and supplier outreach. Candidates should possess world-class supplier management and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to build supplier relationship and report supplier performance on various parameters.
The responsibilities will include :
1. Day-to-day operations
- Design and development workflows using Aravo to meet Vendor Management requirements
- Develop and publish Supplier and Risk Dashboards to leadership
- Identify risks and highlight issues to internal teams
- Plan, track supplier performance across various procurement categories
2. Develop/ Implement supplier management and governance policy
- Analyze and track important metrics across the supplier ecosystem (for instance, spend with diverse vendors, responsible procurement)
- Measure and report supplier performance using relevant metrics
3. Supplier Outreach
- Centrally manage supplier communications regarding policy changes, new guidelines, and company communications
4. Perform service management
- Conduct cross-category Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys across the company in a timely fashion
- Drive process improvements and automation
5. Other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements Key requirements and experience include:
- 6-8 years or more related experience in procurement and supplier management for large technology or media company
- 2-3 years of hands on experience in building workflows, projects, standard forms and dashboards using Aravo Third Party Management Tool
- Strong understanding of data model and relational database concepts
- Strong background in supplier management including a deep understanding of the best practices and appreciation of various technology domains
- Experience in, and thorough knowledge of various IT procurement categories
- Strong ability to collate information/data from multiple sources, draft process flows, review with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work cross-entity, cross-geography enterprise-wide initiatives
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communications skills
- Experience working in global delivery environments
- Ability to support US time zone calls - up to 10 PM IST as necessary
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively to supplier SPOCs and support functions
- Ability to travel up to 20% of time, as needed
- Must be a self-starter and multi-tasker with superior time management skills
- Advanced or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or equivalent education
