About the Role:

Experience : A minimum of 10 years of experience in career services, placement, or a related field in a private university, educational institution, corporate, or recruitment setting.

Background:

- A bachelor's/masters degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree in a related field is a plus.

- Knowledge of the higher education landscape and the challenges and opportunities in student internship & placement.

- Strong hold of corporate connects with relevant knowledge of how fresher placements work and how to get maximum conversions

Job Responsibilities:

- Placement Strategy Development - Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with the Industry & Academics needs.

- Industry Partnerships - Establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with leading companies and organizations for internships, & placements.

- Student Placement Process - Oversee the placement process. Provide students with guidance, counseling, training, and support for job placements, internships, and career development

- Employability Skill Development - Collaborate with academics team & faculty for Students placement training & preparation.

- Team Management - Efficiently lead and manage a team of placement officers.

- Budget Management - Manage the budget allocated for placement and industry outreach.

- Documentation and Compliance - Maintain accurate data along with Portfolios (if applicable) and Resume of all the eligible students appearing for Placement & Internship. Maintain accurate records of placement activities and status of placement of each student. Ensure compliance as per industry standards.

- Placement Metrics and Reporting - Track KPI for placement activities, such as placement rates, job offers, and employer satisfaction.

- Leadership and Team Management Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and guide placement professionals.

- Networking: Ability to network and build relationships with employers, corporates, experts, and professionals in various industries.

- Project Management: Proven project management skills to effectively develop & execute internship & placement strategies and initiatives.

- Training & Development: Proven expertise in developing and executing student placement training & mentoring.

- Analytical and Problem: Solving Abilities: Expertise in reporting and maintaining accurate placement statistics, making exceptional data-driven decisions, and continuously improving the placement process.
