About the Role:

Experience: A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education institutions, with a focus on academic administration, academic quality, student support, regulatory & compliance

Background:

- An advanced degree, such as a master's and Ph.D., in a relevant field is required

- Comprehensive knowledge of academic program development, delivery, and quality assurance in higher education.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards for higher education institutions.

- Understanding of partnership models and collaboration agreements with other educational institutions

Job Responsibilities:

- Partnership Management - Establishing and managing strong relationships with partnered universities. Overseeing the execution of agreements & contracts with partnered universities. Foster strong relationships with partner universities, coordinating academic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with their academic goals and standards.

- Academic Quality Assurance - Implementing and maintaining academic standards. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for maintaining academic quality. Monitoring the quality of education delivery and student learning outcomes.

- Faculty Development - Creating and implementing strategies for faculty development. Encouraging research & publications among faculty members to enhance academic reputation.

- Curriculum Development - Working closely with academic teams to develop new and up-to-date courses and programs based on market demand and trends.

- Regulatory Compliance - Staying updated with changes in education policies and regulation. Coordinating with legal and compliance teams to mitigate any risks related to non-compliance.

- Student Support and Engagement - Monitoring student satisfaction and engagement levels. Implementing initiatives to enhance the overall student experience and support services. Overseeing the implementation of student feedback mechanisms.

- Performance Evaluation and Reporting - Establishing performance metrics for academic programs and evaluating the performance of partnered universities. Preparing and presenting regular reports on academic performance and progress to the senior management team.

- Stakeholder Communication - Facilitating effective communication between the organization and stakeholders, including universities, regulatory bodies, and industry partners. Representing the organization in academic forums, conferences, and industry events.

Skillset required:

- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with partner universities or institutions.

- Leadership & Team Management Skills: Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to guide and mentor staff, faculty, and academic administrators effectively.

- Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving abilities for continuous improvement of academic quality.

- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee curriculum, content development and quality assurance processes efficiently.

- Strategic Planning: Skills to drive the company's academic vision and goals.

- Negotiation & Collaboration: Strong negotiation and collaboration skills to facilitate successful partnerships with external entities
