- CollegeDekho.com is a unique universities discovery platform, which connects education seekers with education providers, at the same time offering information about colleges, courses, entrance exam details, admission notifications, changes in exam pattern, scholarships and all related topics.
- In the first year of operations itself, CollegeDekho.com became the fastest growing education services provider in India, with exceptional traffic growth touching a traffic of over 1.3 million visits in a span of less than 8 months, with an extremely engaged response from users. CollegeDekho.com ranks among the top 1500 sites in India.
- Over the last three years, we have positively impacted the lives of over 12Lakh students and managed 11,000 admissions.
- Over the next 2 years, CollegeDekho plans to scale launch and scale a new student-oriented service verticals which is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of the organization.
- The market segment who we endeavor to service would include prospects looking for admissions to premiere courses/ colleges in the subject of Engineering/ medical etc. These would be admission seeking students and parents who may have limited/ no information with respect to options available to them post completion of their current education and seeking for further professional degrees.
- To enable this journey, we have created a high-powered central Leadership Team which is responsible for attacking key strategic problems/ opportunities that will unlock growth for us. This team is aligned to key parts of the business such as product, digital marketing, content creation, user journey, informed counselling and operations.
This is not purely a strategy creation role, we expect you to get hands-on and solve real problems. As a part of this team, you would be expected to:
- Conceptualise and Create a business model to launch these services offering from CollegeDekho for the domestic and international market. You are expected to both have the ability to think sharply and also execute at a fast pace.
- Work with the Product team to drive the creation of the product roadmap that aligns with the vision and long-term strategy and own the product roadmap. This could range from redesigning our student connect and counselling process to improve their experience, to significantly increase the speed of creating subject matter experts to coach and guide, to data deep dives to understand what makes the student successful in his/ her journey to seek higher education as per his/ her choice.
- Establish business processes - spending time on the ground to gather insights and build solid processes/SOPs to enable a seamless scaleup
- In addition, you would hold the primary responsibility for the go to market and drive CollegeDekho's market share in this space.
- The new business would be expected to leverage on existing internal capabilities, while hiring a high-performance team to complement the additional skills sets required. We would like you to collaborate across multiple teams - product, digital marketing, finance & hr to ensure coherence and swift execution
