Lead - Strategy and Growth
- The role involves business growth of certified loose diamonds with existing and new clients in the United States, Europe and India.
- Clients include diamond trading houses, jewelry manufacturers and jewelry retailers.
- The purpose of the role is to add new accounts for the Liquid Diamonds auction-based trading platform, executing customer relationship management strategies and tactics to acquire, retain and grow participation amongst international diamond buyers in order maximize exposure of suppliers listing on our platform.
- We are looking for a candidate with a large international network and has the ability to negotiate and close deals with customers and/or brokers in the diamond industry.
- Candidates should also possess the desire, ability and willingness to take on new and additional responsibility if the role develops beyond its existing parameters.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B trading and sales in the diamond industry
- Proven track record of selling certified loose diamonds
- Thorough understanding of the loose diamond market and prices
- Diamond-related knowledge including certificates and grading, i.e. GIA, HRD, IGI, etc.
- Well-organized, able to work independently, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills are required as job will involve interacting with mid-to-large international diamond businesses
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all clients that are existing or that have been acquired
- Determination of supply and demand in international market
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Networking events are successful and profitable
