Collections Analytics - Credit Cards - Retail Bank

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading global retail bank. As part of expansion of their global analytics team, they are looking for a seasoned analytics professionals across levels that can play a critical role in establishing and building their newly created collections analytics function.

Job Description:

Reporting into the Risk Lead, your responsibilities will include:

- Driving collections analytics and policy for the cards business of the bank focusing on global geographies

- Analyzing tests and performance using SAS and decision tree (CHAID/ CART).

- Evaluating effectiveness of current collections policies and strategies

- A good understanding of Credit life cycle and Collections/Recoveries

- Help manage the Collections policy, ensuring compliance to risk policies and legal regulations

- Designing tests and rollout Challenger strategies

- Represent risk management through the development life cycle of a new strategy or policy

- Build robust inventory of internal and external data sources to enhance policy development and advanced analytical capabilities in the Collections space

- Evaluating effectiveness of current collections policies and strategies

- Make significant contributions in the development of analytical tools used in the assessment of collections risk and policy

- Close collaboration with operational support teams will be critical for job success.

The Successful Applicant:

- You should be a Bachelors or Masters from a Tier 1 institution with 4-10 years of relevant experience of working with a global bank in areas like collections analytics or credit risk strategy development specifically focused on the credit cards domain

- A good understanding of Credit life cycle and Collections/Recoveries

- Must have hands on expertise in developing and managing segmentation

- Have strong understanding of building risk strategy with good exposure to regulatory aspects like Basel II & III, or application scorecards and behavior scorecards

- Excellent knowledge of SAS/SQL and experience of working in a data intensive environment
