Pricing Manager

We are hiring "Commercials and Pricing Strategy' professionals for Manager/SDM level. These jobs are for Cognizant's Digital Business Operations practice that includes BPO / KPO service lines, platform-based offerings, automation, analytics, and consulting solutions. Required skill set:

- Prepare pricing associated documents such as power point presentation, word files, emailers, use cases, leaflets, collaterals, etc. for internal evaluation and client submissions.

- Build various kinds of commercial models (T&M, Fixed Bid, Transaction based, Outcome based, Gain Share and so on), Sensitivity & Scenario analysis, Price walks, Bid vs Did / GAP analysis.

- Track ongoing deal performance; Conduct competitive analysis; Create and maintain repository of price levers; Conduct trend analysis of major variables; Forecast probable changes and their impacts on P&L.

- Spearhead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations with utmost confidence and conviction - this often calls for accurate 'on-the-fly' analysis and quick number crunching skills.

- Evaluation on Deal assumptions, risks & rewards, client submissions / commitment and contract documents; Educate stakeholders on potential upsides and pitfalls.

- Provide thought leadership in complex and bespoke deal structures; Own pricing decisions; Meet other organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Location:

- MBA from a reputed institute or a qualified CA or CFA or CMA with either engineering degree or graduation with honours.

- Preferred location Gurugram

Experience :

- 8 to 11 years of overall work experience, of which a minimum of four immediate years in executing deal Pricing role.

- Good understanding of P&Ls, cash flows, provisioning / budgeting along with strong grasp of finance and numbers are critical to this role.

- Excellent hold on Microsoft Excel and should be proficient with Power Points and Words

- Ability to work on multiple projects / tasks simultaneously; Must be able to perform under high pressure and stringent deadlines.

- Must be a quick learner with strong number crunching and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to influence stakeholders.

- Experience in leading and managing bids along with authoring proposals especially in a business outsourcing environment is a definite advantage.

- Exposure to Communication, Media and Technology sectors and understanding of Outsourcing industry are preferable.
