Purpose of the role :

Develop target state solution options and roadmap for defined Business Value/Problem area(s) with multiple Service lines(App, Infra, BPS, BPaaS, Large Scale Digital Transformation Initiatives). Independently lead consolidated solutions, articulate value to all key stakeholders and develop robust technology / frameworks WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF developing technology and process capabilities, delivering world class IT enabled solutions to clients and showcasing Cognizant offerings, products and leadership in the industry WITHIN THE LIMITS OF pre-defined corporate guidelines

Areas of Responsibilities -

Solution Development -

- Drive solutioning for complex deals involving multiple service lines and domains as part of RFI, RFP and informal deal/proactive deal processes. Build relationships and credibility with vertical & horizontal stakeholders and clients during the sales cycle

- Support business case and collaterals for Transformational Initiatives

- Define solution vision, blueprint and direction building on synergies and benefits across service lines and technologies

- Envision a transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client

- Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries, market trends and competitors.

- Lead a cross functional team of Service Lines experts across their respective domains.

- Work collaboratively with clients, intermediaries and internal Cognizant technical experts to build high impact solutions

- Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients- existing business processes and applications and recommend solutions

'Innovation and Thought Leadership

- Foster an innovative culture within the team.( e.g., Encourage teams to identify solutions from other industries / verticals / partners and apply to problem context). Leverage offerings from Cognizant and its subsidiaries and acquisitions.

- Identify newer opportunities for contribution / newer ways of leveraging technology for solving client problems

- Understand the clients requirements, pain points and arrive at a customized solution by rightly positioning Cognizant assets

- Collaborate with technology groups and other alliances to bring best practices on various technologies and tools

- Participate in partner forums and evangelizing technology capabilities of Cognizant

Knowledge Management & Organization Capability building

- Identify technical skill gaps / capability gaps in comparison with the applicable business plan for the team

- Arrive at roadmap to close the skills/ capability gap in collaboration with internal and external partners as appropriate

- Support talent acquisition activities

- Develop / Review collaterals from current/past engagements

People Management-

- Identify technical skill gaps / capability gaps in comparison with the applicable business plan for the team

- Arrive at roadmap to close the skills/ capability gap in collaboration with internal and external partners as appropriate

- Support talent acquisition activities

Other Information

Measurement Criteria

Business and Delivery (70%)

- TCV of the solution(normalized within the Geo, Geo benchmark)

- No of deals solutioned

- Win ratio and win/loss ratio(normalized within the Geo, Geo benchmark)

- Personal Utilization(50% utilization)

- Client satisfaction on the solutions in delivery phase

- RAG status of the programs in delivery phase

KM & Organization (15%)

- Participating in peer reviews

- Contribute to KM repositories

Personal & Team Excellence (15%)

- Identify technical skill gaps / capability gaps in comparison with the applicable business plan for the team

- Arrive at roadmap to close the skills/ capability gap in collaboration with internal and external partners as appropriate

- Support talent acquisition activities

Qualifying Criteria:

- Should have had exposure to putting together part or whole solution in one ore more large deals (>50 MN USD, ideally >100 MN USD)

- Should not be from a pure Bid Management / Presales experience or pure Project Delivery experience, rather should have contributed to solutioning the deal

- We are not looking for pure Technical architects / pure RPA or Automation Architects or pure Program Managers unless they have the above two criteria fulfilled

Preferred:

- Exposure to deals having more than one tower across Applications and Infrastructure, if possible BPS

- Exposure to large scale Digital transformation deals or solutions

- Knowledge of market trends in outsourcing, digital transformation and key competitors in this area
