Position Summary
- Individuals in this role are responsible for delivering service across S2C, O2C and R2R that meets/exceeds client expectations, meet Cognizant P&L goals, build a team of motivated people with strong domain skills, while developing their personal capabilities in the domain of accounting
- Pro-actively seek out new business opportunities and ideas for further growth and development
- Institutionalizing an operating mechanism and control framework capable of delivering zero surprise performance, developing training modules for the Client and applying best practices across industry verticals.
- Drive Automation and transformation initiatives
- Drive business growth through mining opportunities
- Identification of business growth drivers and strategizing to tap potential areas
Key Result Areas :
- Responsible for overall service delivery management to clients
- Responsible for Customer satisfaction measured through CSS,CSAT and ESAT scores
- Support Sales and Client RFX/ visits
- Review project related metrics like number of improvement projects, benefits delivered, number of ideas generated and implemented, benefits realized, Utilization and Billable .vs. Buffer ratio
- Responsible for meeting financial targets like customer profitability and revenue billed.
- Identify development needs and ensure training fulfillment for the team (to be tracked against the training plan
- Manage employee retention and engagement (Manage attrition within a target range and ESAT scores)
- Effective implementation of organization initiatives - automation, DRM, DHD, Audits, AOP,Transformation / Innovation projects
- Contribute to Recruitment (measure through participation in screening and interviewing candidates)
- Creating Business visibility through Town Halls
Typical Responsibilities :
Business / Customer :
- Conduct Quarterly Business Review/Steering Committee Review with clients
- Improve customer satisfaction through engagement and delivery quality and establish and retain high levels of client engagement and relationship
- Identify and initiate customer value add projects
- Identify scope for business growth
Project/Process :
- Responsible for project team deliverables
- Facilitate cross-functional interaction between teams
- Ensure audit observations are addressed timely
Drive :
- A culture of pro-active risk identification within the process
- Process excellence within the team
- Culture of accountability within the team members
- Innovation initiatives within the team
- Operational rigor and continuous improvement culture within the area People / Team /L
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team

Performance Management : Conduct performance appraisals for team members
- Identification of training needs/training plan/records - Training Effectiveness
- Succession Planning
- Employee Engagement and Retention - Manage attrition through skip level meetings, planning interventions, engagement calendars
- Participate in organizational initiatives such as recruitment drives, training programs etc.
- Deliver communication received from senior management to the team members though town halls, team meetings

- Direct Reports: Service Delivery Managers/Deputy General Managers
- Team Size: 250-350
VI. Qualification:
- Education: Post Graduate (preferably CA/CWA/MBA)
- GM Experience: 14+ years from a similar background with Program Management skills
