Cognizant - Forex/Rate Strategist

We are looking for a FX/rate strategist to work as part of a team in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities will include :

- Conceiving, implementing (with analyst support), and publishing research on regional foreign exchange and interest rate markets

- Working with the regional team to track key economic trends across the region and draw implications for the relevant FX and rates markets

- Sharing views and analysis with clients, and responding to inquiries about foreign exchange and interest rate markets from clients and others within the firm

- Collaborating with colleagues on global FX strategy, and global rate strategy teams on market calls and broader thematic analysis and research

Desired Qualification :

- Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Economics or related field

- 2-3 years of total working experience in financial markets, preferably in fixed income research/FX

- Familiarity with modern econometric techniques

- Practical experience with econometrics/statistical packages and external economic/market databases

- Excellent command of spoken and written English
