Cognizant - Deputy General Manager - Capital Markets Domain

Job Description :

- Manages a consolidated milestone plan that highlights key dependencies within the program

- Accurately present the program status, financials, issues and risks to the Sponsor and Project Steering Committee

- Engages with cross-functional project managers to ensure that Finances milestones and cross-stream dependencies are transparent.

- Actively drives the project execution and directs the project team

- Establishes and enforces project management discipline and consistency throughout the project lifecycle

- Manages short-term / long-term resource capacity plan

- Engages the Design Authorities to review and oversee functional and technical design in order to ensure consistency with the future state Finance functional and technical model

- Engages with internal and external parties as needed and manage updates and requests for information

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Experience :

- Significant experience as a project manager, leading Operations Change projects, preferably in the Capital Markets domain.

- Strong functional knowledge of Investment Banking operations processes, procedures and reporting.

- Demonstrated success managing the complete life cycle of projects, implementing cost effective, customer driven solutions supporting various areas within Capital markets industry.

- Significant knowledge and experience with project management methodologies and solutions

- Strong written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders.

- Experience with a major consulting firm will be an added advantage
