Responsibilities

- Working with business and technology stakeholders, subject matter experts, team leaders and other data scientists to build data driven products.

- Perform data cleansing, analysis, modeling, visualization, reporting using various software tools at various platforms

- Performs additional job duties as required.

Autonomy

- Works more independently with IT functional units and business units.

- Recommends strategies for improving system applications.

Candidate Requirements

- A passion for performing high-standard data analysis tasks.

- College degree is strictly required.

- 1+ years of industrial experience is strictly required.

- 2+ years in SQL and relational DB technologies

- 1+ years of experience on BI / DW and willing to adapt new technologies.

- 1+ year hand on experience on Python or Shell Script.

- Exposure of Big Data platform and/or products.

- Exposure of data modeling.

Preferred Skills

- College degree in computer science, computer engineering, electric engineering, math, statistics, math or finance.

- Exposure of data model against real life data set.

- Hand-on experience on query optimization.

- Hand-on experience on visualization tool like Tableau.

- Knowledge on AWS environment is a big plus.
