Cogencis - Senior Manager - Market Data - Fixed Income

Bachelor/Post Graduate degree in Finance, Business/Management from a reputed institute.

- Job entails increasing contributions of real-time OTC prices of various fixed income and money market instruments, including derivatives, from banks, brokerages and other financial institutions.

- Job requires working closely with sales, news and data departments to ensure data contributions are regular, accurate, and up to market expectations.

- Work closely with market data or IT department of market intermediaries.

- Proactively manage existing data sets to ensure the data is of high quality and updates are frequent.

- Identify, build and maintain relationships with contributors through regular contact. Expand the contributor base to increase participation.

- 5+ years of experience in the banking, financial information services, or financial market intermediation with exposure to fixed income or foreign exchange markets.

- Strong understanding of debt and familiarity with global markets will be an added advantage.

- Understanding of regulatory environment for markets will be essential.

- Previous experience in dealing with market participants and a good network of market participants.

- Highly motivated, disciplined, self-driven, and passionate. Should be willing to travel.

- Must possess excellent communication skills.

Must have 5-7 years experience in fixed income and money markets.
