Cogencis - Senior Manager - Economy Database

Post Graduate in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics with affinity for numbers

The Candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive macroeconomic database solution that will be a part of Cogencis's Real-Time market news and data terminal product.

- Acquiring and presenting economic data in an easy to mine format for our clients who would be in financial markets, research houses, and policy making.

- Responsible for managing a team of data analysts and coordinating with other managers managing financial data base.

- Responsible for managing relationships with customers and data providers, including government agencies.

- Responsible for understanding customer requirements.

- Responsible for sending daily / periodic sales MIS to Line Manager / Head of the department.

- Should have worked with a financial institution or government agency or a research house or an academic institution.

- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and detect patterns in data.

- Must have skills in organising multi-level time series data.

- Must have keen interest in the Indian/global economy and financial markets and deep knowledge of macroeconomic concepts. Should be abreast with the latest trends and regulations in domestic and overseas markets.

- The job requires frequent interaction with senior level people in various agencies that disseminate economic data domestically and internationally.

- Experience in handling client interaction independently.

Must have atleast 5-7 years experience in handling economic data/research in capacity as a data manager.
