Cofounder/Program Lead - Fitness/Weight Loss/Wellness Startup - IIT/NIT

An online start-up in the Indian wellness space is looking for a Co-founder/Program Manager role, who can lead our fitness vertical. This is a great opportunity to take up a leadership role in an entrepreneurial setup.

The current team is from IIM Calcutta and has past startup experience including a successful encryption software company. The startup is mentored by a tier-1 VC.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional, who has one or more of the following attributes:

- Knowledge about diet, nutrition, weight loss and fitness and related industries

- Fitness enthusiast; Active participant in Marathons or similar events

- Strong customer orientation

- Should be ready to develop markets from scratch and help in building a strong brand

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to think on your feet.

- Previous experience with a start-up (good to have)

We are looking for candidates who will fit in an early startup culture and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the table. The existing co-founders will be there to help, but you need to act independently, and execute with speed.

Enthusiastic MBA or premier engineering school (IIT/NIT/REC) graduates can also apply for this role.

Location: Mumbai (Sakinaka)

Compensation: Attractive early stage equity based remuneration with a low cash component as applicable for co-founder profiles.
