Cofounder - NGO

Looking for a female co-founder based out of Bangalore to start an NGO in Women Empowerment space. Please note that this is a Volunteering opportunity (in addition to your full time job if you are working) in taking an NGO from 0 to 1 as a cofounder.

Let me share the story here.

I was reflecting upon my life and career and I realized that I haven't been contributing to the society as much as I would like. More importantly as much as society needs people like us to step up. With clarity on using my skills for the betterment of society, I had to decide where do I want to contribute.

Women in my life have had profound impact on me. As a person with avid interest in history, economics and politics, I realised that if we all collectively work towards empowering every woman with a life they deserve, world would be a better place to live. So decided to work towards that mission in my small way.

So I have decided to start an NGO that would work on Women Empowerment based out of Bangalore primarily targeting Indian women to start with.

Requirement :

- Female cofounder

- Based out of Bangalore

- Preferably speaking Kannada

- Added benefit if you have worked with NGOs in the past.

- More importantly we need someone committed to the cause and can spare time on a consistent basis (consistency is the key. Amount of time is something which we can manage as we build a team)

- It is important for me to explain this requirement. I do not speak Kannada and we will be based out of Bangalore. I believe the profile mentioned would help us have productive engagement with other organizations into social service.

Note : The idea is intentionally kept at a nascent stage so that the co-founder feels she has an equal contribution to make from the beginning. As I said it is a joint journey of taking this up from 0 to 1.
