Cofounder/CTO - Mobile & Backend - Beauty & Wellness Startup - IIT/NIT

A new start-up in the Indian beauty and wellness space is looking for a co-founder in a CTO role.

We are building a mobile and web platform which will enable consumers to discover and book beauty and wellness services, and also empower salons, spas and individual beauticians to function more efficiently.

The current team is from IIM Calcutta and has past startup experience including a successful encryption software company. The startup is mentored by a tier-1 VC.

We are looking for an enthusiastic or experienced CTO, who can :

- Code in Python/Django for the backend and Java for the Android app

- Take over development of our backend API (in development, built on Django)

- Deliver a basic Android app

- Help build a seed team of developers to take this forward (Web App, Native Apps and Backend)

- Contribute to other technology requirements (CRM etc)

- Enable and drive data-driven design decision-making (A/B Testing, Analytics etc) to help achieve business goals

We are looking for candidates who will fit in an early startup culture and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the table. The Co-founders will be there to help, but you need to act independently, and execute with speed.

We have a preference for candidates who have built an Android app themselves. Enthusiastic premier engineering school (IIT/NIT/REC) graduates/post graduates are ideal.

Location : Mumbai (Powai)

Compensation : Attractive early stage equity based remuneration with a low cash component as applicable for co-founder profiles.
