CoE Leader - Storage & Backup

We have an opportunity for a CoE Leader- Storage and Backup for one of our MNC client, which provides IT Services and is one of the world's largest consulting, outsourcing and professional services company.

Job Description:

An Industry veteran, deep experience in Storage and Backup; thought leadership and architecture experience in a Service Delivery organization. The role will involve leading the CoE which will be accountable and responsible for providing blue print for technology adoption, build capabilities ahead of time and providing strong technical and industrialization standards. Prior experience in Storage technical design, project implementation and new service offerings development. Conduct and/or participate in presales product presentations, demos, customer evaluations. Ability to build business cases and presenting them to leadership for approvals. Need ability to articulate and explain business value for technology decisions.

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge and practical experience of Storage and Backup technologies with strong experience in Storage domain.

- Working with alliance partners to review technology and product roadmaps with a view to build Pov and new service offerings

- Effectively applying technical knowledge to pre-sales situations and crafting solutions for clients.

- Providing technical consulting expertise and leadership to internal project teams and clients.

- Sharing knowledge and experience through formal and informal knowledge management initiatives. Day-to-day duties will range from providing significant input to technical pre-sales activities, responding to RFPs, through to high-level and detailed design phases to leading actual implementation on large projects.

- A successful candidate will be expected to have a practical working knowledge of storage & backup technologies and their application to real-world business problems in large-scale customer environments.

- Translating customer requirements into technology solutions. Ability to conceptualize, define and lead transformation programs in the Storage & Backup Domain for hosted infrastructure.

- Establishing and maintaining a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the client.

- Solution governance during implementation

Person Profile:

- Self-driven and able to work independently or within a team

- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)

- Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution. Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely manner

- Ability to provide clear and concise documentation

- Good 3rd Party Liaison, i.e. Suppliers of storage products and hardware vendors

- Conducting detailed analysis of technical environments and provide solutions

- Leadership of small team of architects and SMEs

- Represent in technology and business forums
