Co-Founder With Business Development Experience
An innovative B2B venture for India's transportation and warehousing industry is looking for a co-founder with sales and marketing/Business Development experience.
- Manages and directs all aspects of Business Development. Design, develop and implement policies and procedures based on best in class industry practices. Oversees roll out of Business expansion. Supervises, trains, and develops representatives; resolves conflicts; ensures work product consistently meets established standards; and takes required corrective/developmental action to remedy deficiencies.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Conducts regular performance assessment, analyzes CRM and other reports and makes decisions to improve effectiveness and revenue potential of the organization. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Will report to top management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversees the all operations of Sales and Marketing function
- Business planning, analysis and implementation
- Devise & implement Sales and Marketing strategy
- Build, Drive & mentor Sales and Marketing Team
- Budgeting across the value chain
- Develop a strong Organization culture across the function
- Responsible for managing human resources within the team. This includes:
- Recommend staffing and organization structure to ensure optimum service delivery
- Recruitment and Training & Development
- Performance management
- Proactively seeks and applies best practice within the industry.
- Build / nurture strong networks and Strategic Alliances
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must have Master's Degree in Management from Premier institutes
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience with major experience in leadership roles
- Must have Sales experience in Internet based organizations with focus on B2B customer segments
- Must have experience with Sales operations including CRM technologies
- Entrepreneurial bent of mind and ambitions to co-own/manage a potential trillion dollar business
- Ability and Willingness to invest equity. Salary in the combination of Sweat / ESOPs / Cash
- Earlier experience in a Start-up a plus
- Understands the evolutionary nature of Start-up organization
