Cluster Sales Head
Job Description:
We are actively seeking an accomplished and growth-driven Cluster Sales Head to lead and manage the sales operations for a group of prestigious 5-star hotels based in Bengaluru. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for professionals with a deep-rooted passion for hospitality sales and an impressive track record of revenue growth, relationship-building, and market development.
As the Cluster Sales Head, you will be responsible for steering the overall sales function, creating business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and positioning the cluster as a preferred choice for both corporate and leisure clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the cluster's revenue goals.
- Lead business development initiatives across domestic and international markets.
Client & Market Development:
Build and sustain strong relationships across key verticals:
- MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)
- Travel Agencies & Tour Operators
- Airlines, Railways, and Car Rentals
- Banquets, Catering, and Food & Beverage Sales
- Identify new markets and client segments, design customized sales pitches, and convert leads into long-term business partnerships.
Revenue Optimization:
- Drive rate negotiations and corporate contracts to ensure maximum revenue realization.
- Monitor sales pipelines, track key account performance, and ensure quarterly and annual targets are met.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals across the assigned cluster properties.
- Ensure the team consistently adheres to high service standards while achieving individual and collective KPIs.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and changing client preferences to stay ahead of the curve.
- Conduct regular market analysis to recalibrate sales plans and maximize opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 17 to 22 years of proven sales experience within the Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related sectors.
- Strong and direct exposure to Sales in the following domains is mandatory:
- MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)
- Travel Agencies, Airlines & Tour Operators
- Train and Car Rental Partnerships
- Banquet & Catering Sales
- Food & Beverage Sales
- Demonstrated success in handling high-value accounts, achieving aggressive sales targets, and managing complex negotiations.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and networking skills with a deep understanding of customer-centric selling.
- A strategic thinker with hands-on operational execution capability.
- Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
