- Do you possess a strong understanding of the Government & Institutional (G&I) financial landscape and a passion for building strategic partnerships? Are you a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of driving business growth? If so, we invite you to apply for the exciting opportunity of Government & Institutional Business Head (Cluster).

- In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the acquisition and management of G&I business within your designated cluster.

- You will be responsible for securing new clients (NTB) and deepening relationships with existing clients (ETB) to significantly expand our G&I footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

- Develop and execute strategies to attract new Government and Institutional clients within the assigned cluster.

- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and tailor value propositions to their specific needs.

- Lead the sales process for new client acquisition, focusing on liability products.

Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with existing G&I clients, fostering trust and loyalty.

- Implement strategies to deepen existing client relationships (ETB) and explore cross-selling opportunities.

- Ensure efficient servicing of existing clients by collaborating closely with branch teams.

Product Expertise:

- Possess a comprehensive understanding of Government & Institutional business, including payments & cash management, electronic payment products, and basic knowledge of trade finance and foreign exchange.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations impacting the G&I sector.

- Partner with product teams to ensure branches are equipped with the necessary expertise to effectively serve G&I clients.

Performance Management:

- Drive the achievement of sales targets and budgets within the assigned cluster.

- Collaborate with the Zonal Office/Head Office to develop training programs for branches on G&I products and client service best practices.

- Monitor branch performance and provide guidance to ensure optimal servicing of G&I clients.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related role, preferably within the Government & Institutional banking sector.

- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth objectives.

- In-depth understanding of liability products and their application within the G&I space.

- Strong understanding of Payments & Cash Management, Electronic Payment Products, and Government Agency Business.

- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide branch teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
