Cloud Transformation Architect - IT

We have an opportunity for a Cloud Transformation Architect for one of our client in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the sales team to participate in and proactively drive the presales process with clients. This may include leading discussions and presentations, developing proposals etc

- Design innovative, optimized and agile technical solutions to meet the needs of existing and potential Organization clients

- Work closely with internal project delivery teams, migration factories and operations to ensure the solutions are in line with Organization standards and minimize delivery risk

- Develop high level future state operational models across transformation, transition and operations

- Identify, validate and grow opportunities to accelerate consumption in high potential customer accounts, in partnership with the sales team, by driving transformation and solution architecture discussions

- Develop and share best fit methodologies, tools and services to ensure the right solution for the requirement

- Lead solution development and integration by collating responses from multiple tracks leads or peer solution architects

- Develop resource and effort estimation along with Pricing Models (Fixed Price contracts vs Time & Material vs Unit Pricing)

- Customer facing solution defence during the sales cycle

- Remain current with practices in the architecture discipline, providing thought leadership and developing white papers

Technical Skills :

- Good technical understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, network and security technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.

- Should have good understanding of Next Gen technologies like Terraform, Containers, Ansible, Vagrant, Packer, Openstack, ChatOps, (Hu)Bots and allied technologies.

- Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication

- Deep and broad knowledge on Hybrid Cloud or complex datacentre environments covering multiple hypervisors, operating systems, middleware, database, public and private cloud platforms, orchestration, automation and brokerage solutions

- Good knowledge on the enterprise storage, backup, infra security and network technologies

- 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, or support of highly distributed applications (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)

- Oversight experience on major transformation projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams

- Atleast one Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Hyper-V or similar) certification is a must

- Atleast one Architecture certification (TOGAF, Zachman or similar) is a must

Personality Skills :

- The applicant should have a exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills

- Able to present and communicate technical designs and solutions to peers

- Interact clearly with client and delivery teams

- Exceptional written skills are required for solution documentation creation for both technical and non-technical material

- Able to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines

- A background of infrastructure design engineering and deployment experience in an outsourced service environment

- As an Infrastructure specialist, maintain a thorough understanding of new product features and solutions in the cloud, datacentre and automation space

- Knowledge on Project and resource management
