Cloud Architect - Presales - Data Center Transformation Domain

We have an opportunity for a Cloud Architect - Presales for one of our client in Mumbai/ Bangalore/Hyderabad.

Job Description :

- Resources should either be in Pre-Sales/Solutioning or Projects Delivery or BOTH which is fantastic

- Worked in an External Client/Customer facing role and exposure to working across time zones/geographies

- Strong in communication skills - Verbal and Written

- Understands Cloud Models and preferably has experience setting up and driving projects in any Cloud Stack - Azure or AWS

Delivery Points :

- Worked specifically in Data center Transformation Space - Project Delivery means Gather customer requirements, Design of both HLD and LLD, Build or Implementation followed by Support (sometimes) or Handover to Support or RUN organization

- Must be proficient in hands-on Experience in 1 or 2 specific Infra Domains: Network/Platform (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, RHEL 6, 7.2 or IBM AIX 7.1 and up including Virtualization Technologies with any vendor: VMware, Citrix, MS )/ Backup and Storage/Database (Oracle/SQL)

- Knowledge of every other infra domain and their inter-connectivity overall to get the placement of elements in an infrastructure design: Network Layer to Server Farm Segment (Network Platform - DB Storage) along with Tools and supporting infra elements like Monitoring, Ticketing, Service Mgmt (Event correlation), Capacity planning, Setting up HA & DR for individual components, Middleware if any etc

- Worked on Virtualization Server Technology Design, Build and Migrations: Scenarios around DC consolidation/Rationalization or Relocation with Large customers/projects

Pre-Sales/Solution Points :

- Worked in a pre-sales role for large customer bids

- Identification of Functional and Non Functional Requirements

- Responding to Customer RFPs

- Writing Content on Transformation Solutions

- Understands the process of Bid Management and its various stages (Assessment, Due Diligence, Stage Gates and so on)

- Resource and Effort Estimation along with Pricing Models (Fixed Price contracts vs Time & Material)
