Engineering or computer/data science or a closely related field also welcome. - Technical coding skills in programming languages (Python preferably) - Experience in handling large datasets and data processing including netCDF, HDF and GRIB data. - Experience in simple analytical and modelling techniques, such as linear regression. - Knowledge of different types of weather data streams, including from Numerical Weather Prediction Models and from satellite imagery. What you will do: You will be working at the epicenter of energy transformation. With guidance from senior team members, you will be forecasting for our renewable plants. Ultimately, through your contribution to the renewable energy revolution, you will be doing your bit to mitigate the effects of climate change. These are a few things you can look forward to working on: - Forecasting for Solar and Wind plants as per the requirements through Weather Prediction Models and Satellite imagery - Helping the operations team with manual forecasting and prediction - Radar Meteorology and Satellite image analysis - AWS (Automatic weather station) weather data - Third-party Weather API's Qualifications: - M.Sc. / M.
