Climate Change Adaption & Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist - Business Development

Role Overview:

- The Climate and Disaster Risk Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and revenue streams by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and leading proposal development efforts.

- This individual will leverage their expertise in climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, and sustainable development, to provide strategic guidance to our existing and new clients and develop tailored solutions that align with their needs and objectives.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree or equivalent in Environmental sciences, or related fields such as atmospheric science, applied climatology, climate informatics, earth science (hydrology), geographic information systems, civil engineering, or related fields;

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, consulting, or/and working with bilateral/multilateral agencies, project management in the climate change adaptation or disaster risk reduction sector.

- Strong understanding of climate change science, adaptation strategies, risk assessment methodologies, and resilience-building measures.
