Job Description

- Preparation and oversight of the production of client’s financial statements and reports

- Liaisoning with client’s external auditors

- Resolution of audit queries

- Coordinating client audit deliverables

- Managing and monitoring audit progress

- Resolving technical accounting queries for client’s complex products / transactions

- Training the fund accounting staff in the financial statement preparation process

- Ad hoc projects to improve the clients financial reporting process

Job Specification:

- ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent

- 6-8 years experience

- Experience with IFRS or USGAAP

- Preparation of Audit & Financial Statements.

- Client management experience

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work remotely with teams in UK/US

Hedge fund accounting exposure/knowledge

Essential Skills:

- Quantitative aptitude, Desire to learn, Hard working, Positive Attitude, Team Player

Desirable Skills :

- Knowledge of MS Excel Macro / Visual Basic

- Knowledge of Financial Products

- Prior exposure to hedge funds / accounting for financial instruments
