Position Overview:

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including investments accounting, client invoicing, revenue forecasting, and managing the financial health of business units. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SOW reviews, compensation terms, and expected profitability and billing structures. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial performance metrics and a proactive approach to receivables and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Invoicing and SOW Reviews:

- Review Statements of Work (SOW) for accuracy and compliance.

- Oversee the client invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate billing.

- Validate custody and fund accounting invoices.

Revenue Forecasting and Performance Analysis:

- Develop and manage Business Unit revenue forecasts.

- Analyze compensation terms, expected profitability, and billing structures.

- Monitor Business Unit performance, including utilization, revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin.

Financial Reporting and Updates:

- Update the fair value of NBFC's books.

- Reconcile mutual fund gains with IIFL statements (SOAs).

- Provide detailed financial reports and updates to senior management.

Business Unit Health and Performance Management:

- Assess Business Unit health by evaluating over or under servicing and comparing sold as expected performance vs. actual performance.

- Implement strategies to improve Business Unit performance and profitability.

Receivables and Collections:

- Manage receivables and collections processes to ensure timely payments.

- Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, MBA (Finance) or CPA preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on investments accounting, client invoicing, and revenue forecasting.

- Strong understanding of compensation terms, profitability, and billing structures.

- Proven experience in Business Unit performance analysis and management.

- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.

- Proficient in financial software and tools, including NetSuite and FTRAC/CBRICS.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

Expertise in investments accounting and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
