Our Product Managers set the vision for ClearTax's growing family of products. They are responsible for guiding multidisciplinary teams toward a common goal - shipping high-quality products and features on time. As advocates for both our users and our business, Product Managers balance varied perspectives and empower their teams to do great work.
Location : Bangalore
Responsibilities :
- Define the product capabilities for data ingestion, data security, data governance, data modeling & data analytics with metadata and API-based extensibility
- You will help form vision, roadmap, and goals for the product while defining metrics for feature impact to decide on rollout priority.
- You have the technical skillset to talk shop and work closely with our engineers - Designers will become your best friends, and you love to build products for diverse users
- You will write specs, manage project execution, A/B test, UI/UX wireframe, and define product roll-out strategy
- You will have the ability to revise decisions based on changing priorities/risk/market scenarios.
- Process, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data on customer usage patterns to uncover new product insights
- Work with engineering, design and marketing teams to plan, build and launch high-quality product experiences that simplify the way people work together
- Organize communication platforms at the organization level and identify key takeaways and action points for the group.
- You will need to leverage extensive knowledge of your product portfolio, as well as, customer feedback, key data and analytics, and other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes.
- You will drive requirements and partner with an engineering team to deliver solutions. You will partner with other product managers to create an ecosystem that comprises of multiple products and platforms
- You will be the "voice of the product" to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will also be the "voice of the customer" by engaging with customers to understand pain points, feature requests and prioritize them effectively to provide the most value to the customer base.
- You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer/product themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
Required Qualification :
- BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or similar field or experience as a Product Owner/startup Founder
- 6+ years working as a Product Manager
- Proven track record of working in an engineering role initially (minimum 5 years) and later transitioned into a product management role (minimum 5 years) (good to have)
- Strategic mindset and bias for action. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- You have a deep understanding and empathy for users
- Must have experience in data product management, platform development, data technology, analytics etc
- Managed at least 1 PM as a Product Leader (good to have)
- You have launched multiple successful products and features, preferably on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, desktop, and web)
- Excellent organization and communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background.
- A background in managing a product as a shared platform
- Experience with data factory, data lake, data bricks etc (good to have)
- Demonstrated experience leading the strategy and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions within a large enterprise where the solutions spanned multiple lines of business (good to have)
- You have demonstrated the ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
