Cleartax - Senior Product Designer - B2C Segment

Job brief:

We are looking for a rockstar Product Designer who thrives in a team environment and has exceptional product design and interpersonal skills. Designers are expected to have a keen eye for aesthetics and acute problem-solving skills to accelerate the company's growth.

Responsibilities:

- Create designs that optimize user needs, business goals, and technological realities on mobile and desktop platforms.

- Works with PMs to iterate on the PRDs and reinforces sanity in the product.

- Conduct lightweight usability and user research.

- Creates a responsive, reliable, and user-friendly interface.

- Individually engages in discussions with PMs to figure out design solutions.

- Is able to rationalize one's own work and collaborate with PMs.

- Manages multiple work streams together w/o compromising on deadlines.

- Contribute to the development of the design team's culture and quality standards.

- Has an up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in mobile.

- Effectively present and communicate the conceptual vision.

- Executes all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

- Orchestrate design strategies for the long/short-term goals of the company.

- Provide timely guidance to fellow folks within the team.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in product design.

- A strong online portfolio that showcases practical UI and UX skills.

- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Proven track record in setting a vision for great user experiences, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use. Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.

- Organized, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner.

- A passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level.

- Preferred Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field.

- Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools.

- Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements that shape a product.

- Basic understanding of the complete product design process right from Ideation through development to quantitative analysis.
