Job Purpose

To bring in the culture of Data aggregation and analysis. From recognizing customer patterns in the numbers, to improving the consumer experience via analytics, to finding ways to bring data to achieve organizations Goals & objective.

Functional Responsibilities

Lead, develop and grow a team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard

Strong hold on predictive/statistical modeling.

Be responsible for scaling our analytics capability across all internal disciplines and guide our strategic direction in regards to analytics

Translating business needs to technical requirements and implementation

Responsibilities include leading the team to focus on a variety of data analytics and modeling problems including but not limited to:

Organize and analyze large, diverse data sets across multiple platforms

Identify key insights and leverage them to inform and influence product strategy

Proactively developing new analyses and insights, to drive decisions and strategies for marketing (customer lifetime modeling, user acquisition, retention, monetization, etc.)

Define and adhere to standards and procedures for best practices for business intelligence design, development and implementation.

Working with all parts of the business to identify analytical requirements and formalize an approach for reliable, relevant, accurate, efficient reporting on those requirements.

Designing and implementing advanced statistical testing for customized problem solving

Solve business problems through usage of appropriate statistical techniques (predictive and descriptive) like multinomial linear and nonlinear regression, time series, hierarchical regression, segmentation, clustering, decision trees, ANOVA/ ANCOVA, etc.,

Deliver concise verbal and written explanations of analyses to senior management that elevate findings into strategic recommendations

Integrate and Present analysis through visualization platforms such as Tableau, Qlikview etc.

Requirement:

Practical hands-on exposure in the taxation/financial services domain in eCommerce space will be highly preferable.

Management Graduate from Top Institution with Statistical Background

6 - 9 years exp in Analytics domain

Rich experience in advanced analytics - predictive analytics, forecasting techniques, customer behavior, web analytics, social media, text mining, NLP etc

Exposure in ideating and implementing the Analytics Prrocess within the organization across the Business Units.

Expertise in R/ SPSS/ SAS/ANOVA/ SQL, in-depth knowledge of various statistical techniques and other BI and Visualization tools

Experience in visualization platform like Tableau/Qlikview will be added plus.

Critical thinking, strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, analytical acumen, creativity, and a proven work ethic

Experience on Big Data tools/techniques like Hadoop Ecosystem, NoSQL would be highly desirable

Experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
