Job Description :

The Head - Tax/Indirect Tax will have functional reporting to the Founders for this business line and matrix reporting within ClearTax across locations.

The Respective Business Segments/Units Under This Business Lines Are Consumer Business MarketPlace and Enterprise Software Business.

Each Service Line is covering several specialized portfolio elements organized in dedicated service units.

KPIs :

Indirect Tax, Taxation, GST Consulting, Indirect Tax Content, Indirect Tax subject matter.

Opportunity & Candidate :

This is a leadership opportunity in the exciting growth world of dotcom product space.

The candidate will be expected to have :

- Proven expertise in taxation including indirect tax.

- Exposure in GST (Goods & Service Tax).

What we are looking for :

- Independent in-charge of Indirect/Direct Tax at ClearTax.

- Responsible for all compliance and Indirect/Direct Tax matters including VAT, Service Tax etc.

- People Management exposure.

- Through knowledge of GST and eventual rollover & Implementation.

- CA/LLB

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Will be Indirect Subject Matter expert in terms of providing key inputs to the product and engineering team to shape up the online GST product and get involved in consulting for the same on an ongoing basis

- Will be in-charge of overseeing the taxation primarily indirect tax related content going out to the consumers.

- Will oversee and manage the GST filing team

- GST rollover and effective implementation.
