Clearing & Settlement Operations Role - Retail Broking

Direct Responsibilities:

1. Functional:

- Coordination with Back office vendors to resolve system technical issue.

- Identify system enhancement and developments. Coordinate with other stakeholders and teams to ensure new products are developed and implemented in a very competitive industry.

- Handling back office operations pertaining to clearing and settlement of equity and F&O.

- Sound knowledge of Equity, F&O &, day to day settlement activities i.e. BOD / EOD / Pay-in / Pay-out

- Experience in handling Audit - Concurrent , Internal and external - Depositories/ Stock exchanges

- Ensuring Compliance requirement as per SEBI regulations

- Experience in handling ( CDAS)

- Billing and MIS preparation

- Sound Knowledge of client KYC

2. Regulatory and Market Intelligence:

- To demonstrate deep market knowledge on a regular basis in terms of recent regulatory development

- To share, seek guidance and implement recent development with coordination of multiple stakeholders internally like compliance, legal and onboarding team.

3. Coordination:

- Strong internal / external stakeholders coordination (e.g. Auditors, IT vendors, Product, Finance, regulators, Depositories, Exchanges, Banks etc) Contributing Responsibilities

- Respond to internal team's requests and queries efficiently and promptly.

- Gain an understanding of operations/ business to better anticipate requirements .

Technical:

- Stock broking background of Indian Market

- Experience in dealing with retail clients

- Local Market Regulatory knowledge

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc

- Back office applications - Techexcel / Leedha Deedha / Comtek
