- The India Content Editorial Operations team is responsible for Ingesting, Curating and Publishing Content for the various products of Scientific & Academic Research (SAR) Business Unit. The team is based out of Hyderabad and Chennai locations.
Position Description : Manager/Sr.Manager India Content Editorial Operations - SAR

Summary of Responsibilities :
The Manager/Sr. Manager - India Content Editorial Operations SAR, is responsible for all Editorial Operations in Hyderabad and Chennai and will report to the India Editorial Operations Leader. The candidate will be a strong communicator and will be responsible for the Operations delivery of the SAR India team. The responsibilities include robust Planning, Delivery and Reporting out of the Content operations to the Content Leadership team. The job would also entail driving Process improvements and partner in transformation efforts partnering with key stakeholders. The candidate needs to build a excellent relationship with the hub partners in London, Barcelona, Philadelphia with transparency and accountability.
The responsibility of this role will be India specific. This individual will be a highly effective leader who is adept at driving change within a very dynamic business environment and who has an impeccable record of delivering process efficiency and operational results.
Job duties include:
Management responsibilities
- Performs autonomously, initiates and manages complex, departmental and/or cross- company work.

Business Responsibilities
- Drives Operational delivery and deliver on agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
- Build and monitor performance metrics, with principal focus on ensuring on-time and accurate Content Delivery
- Maintain weekly and monthly communications and metrics reporting with Director and VP level business partners
- Ensures Business Continuity by ensuring processes are adequately backed up with Cross training and documentation
- Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives
- Lead a team of 4+ Operational Team Leaders/Asst.Mgrs across Chennai & Hyderabad
- Support Vendor Partners in their successful delivery of their Content by partnering with them and Vendor Operations teams
- Works closely with the Technology team to ensure the systems are working in the most efficient manner and support in any continuous technology improvements;

Knowledge & Skills, Business Acumen, Education & Experience :
- Graduate/PG with 12+ or more years of relevant Content Operations/or Operations experience
- Demonstrates strong communication (verbal and written) skills and is able to positively influence behaviors and outcomes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a work ethic based upon a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business processes from several angles, including from the perspective of a business process leaders, customers, and supporting internal stakeholders
- Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques desired
- Independent and Entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion
