cKers - Manager - Wholesale Credit

Role: Manager Wholesale Credit.

- A fast growing NBFC in retail electric vehicle finance is looking for a Corporate lending specialist, based at Delhi.

- We are an early mover in financing electric mobility having funded over 5000 electric vehicles in India already in B2B portfolio as well as indirectly.

- In retail EV finance, we aim to finance more than 5000 electric three-wheeler L5- loaders alone over the next 12 months for select OEMs in India.

Position Deliverables:

- Managing Credit Risk and Credit Decisioning for the entire wholesale/ SME Portfolio.

- Manage the credit underwriting / loan investment process.

- Creating project/company financial models and carrying out financial statement analysis.

- Conducting client background checks and site visits to support credit decisions.

- Preparing credit assessment notes and financial model.

- Drafting credit opinion on transaction based on its merits and risks.

- Source new clients and get repeat business from existing clients.

- Commercial closure and execution of transactions end to end independently.

- Deal execution and project/ loan documentation.

- Monitoring client operations/key milestones/project cash flows.

- Engaging the sustainability ecosystem to create business development opportunities.

- Build out a line of fee based business to leverage the lending operations.

- Building an in-depth operational understanding of various segments and work with partners to refine lending and monitoring strategies.

About You:

- You are a proactive and independent person and are looking to take on independent responsibility.

- You are good at understanding and engaging customers and creating solutions for them.

- You are hands-on and at the same time, good in people management.

- You can work as an independent contributor with little/ no support.

You Must Have:

- An MBA/CA with 5-8 years of experience in wholesale lending.

- Hands-on and good interpersonal skills, with a go-getter attitude.

- Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building financial models.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong B2B customer relationship handling skills.

- Excellent communication, writing skills, and presentation skills.

- Strong financial statement analysis foundation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.

- Ability to work hands-onand multi-task in an energetic environment.
