Job Description
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Sound knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
1. Project Planning and Initiation :
a. Develop project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
b. Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and expectations.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
a. Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, assigning tasks and
responsibilities.
b . Conduct regular team meetings to ensure everyone is aligned with project objectives.
3. Budgeting and Cost Management:
a. Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost efficiency.
b. Review and approve project expenditures, controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Schedule and Timeline Management:
a . Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
b. Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
a. Identify project risks, analyze their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
b. Implement measures to minimize risks and maintain project continuity.
6. Quality Control and Compliance:
a. Ensure construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
b. Conduct quality inspections to guarantee work meets specified requirements.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
a. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
b . Facilitate effective communication between clients, contractors, architects, and other involved parties.
8. Problem-Solving and Decision Making:
a. Address project issues promptly, making informed decisions to keep the project on track.
b. Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions to maintain project momentum.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
a . Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
b . Generate progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.
