Job Summary:

The City Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of operations within a specific city or region. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, and effective management to ensure the city's overall success. The City Manager is responsible for driving growth, optimizing operational performance, maintaining compliance, and fostering strong relationships within the community. Core responsibilities include achieving Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), Contribution Margin (CM), and Working Capital (WC) targets, ensuring high On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance, and facilitating the excellence of all warehouses within the city.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all operational aspects within the assigned city or region.

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and meet GMV and CM targets while optimizing WC.

- Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

- Collaborate with various departments, such as Business Finance,Corp Finance, Product,CDO, and HR, to ensure seamless operations.

- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

- Foster strong relationships with local government, businesses, and community organizations to support the company's presence in the city.

- Act as the primary point of contact for any city-specific issues or opportunities.

- Continuously seek ways to improve the city's operational performance and customer satisfaction.

- Develop and execute Sales and growth strategies to expand the company's presence in the city.

- Monitor financial targets, performance metrics, and growth initiatives to ensure the city's success.

- Provide guidance, training, and performance management for the city's team, fostering a culture of excellence.

- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues.

- Stay informed about local trends and the competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.

- Ensure that all warehouses within the city are operating at their best to meet OTIF targets.

- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the city's team.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in city or regional management, with a strong track record of leadership.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.

- Problem-solving skills to address city-specific challenges and opportunities.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
