Job Description :
General Manager (GM) is responsible for all administrative, operations and marketing activities of the business for a city. GM reports directly to the VP Operations and the Founders. GM is a member of the core decision making team.
Responsibilities :
- Kick-start and ensure smooth operations across the city
- Setup teams, build functions, scale up across the paradigm and lead the P&L for an entire city, as a P&L leader
- Build a strong network of satisfied, reliable and highly effective crew that is obsessed with delivering a top-notch customer experience
- Negotiate and manage third party vendors such as packaging partners, delivery partners and support partners among others, involved in multiple stages of the purchase and fulfillment journey
- Responsible for end to end operational activities
- Work actively with the Marketing team to conceptualize campaigns, create brand awareness and lead the BTL activities on ground
- Actively partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as key stakeholders, PR, creative, national advertising, go-to-market and individual campaign teams to ensure a consistent message and focus across all consumer touch points
Requirements :
- Strong Leadership skills. Proven ability to build, manage and mentor large teams
- Customer centric, creative and analytical problem-solving mindset
- Penchant for being data driven and a stickler for analyzing and improving every activity
- 3-6 years work experience in Operations, Strategy, Consulting in India
- Great understanding of logistics, store management and customer support
- Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement strategic plans for the business
- Graduates/Post graduate from premier institutes
