Position Summary
The HR Generalist delivers a comprehensive range of value added Human Resources practices, programs and for multiple business groups in India. The position goal is to provide these programs and practices in a manner that makes it easy to do business, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring consistency and compliance.
The HR Generalist will assist with the Human Capital (People) Strategy and help prepare diagnostics to address and understand organizational dynamics.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Work closely with the HR Business Partners in providing People strategy support to the identified Client groups
- Engage with Managers on key employee matters related to Staffing, Learning & Development, Performance Management etc.
- Coach, counsel, and guide managers before the execution of employee disciplinary actions
- Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes (communication of HR process/policies to employees, 1:1 connect, brown bag sessions etc), work with HR Business Partners to drive required change
- Rhythm of the business process support in annual Performance discussions, Compensation planning & Promotions process, Talent Reviews, Reward programs, Global Employee Survey action planning etc, working closely with the HR Business Partner
- Performance management process coaching & education for manager & employees
- Build HR Presentations for business stakeholder reviews and internal projects in partnership with HR Business Partners
- Partner with HR CoEs (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, HR Shared Services, HRIS, Employee Relations etc.) as required to support the client groups
- Employee relations support (i.e. investigations of misconduct, local statutory requirements, maintain record)
- Support and advise on HR Systems (Workday) related requests for key clients
- Help enable Employee transfers and global mobility as required
- Participate in Global HR Projects and work on India related activities
- Maintain & provide employee metrics to enable with required visibility into people data for their teams
- Conduct exit interviews, collate and analyze trends
- Assist HR Business Partner in re-organizations and other change management initiatives (i.e. reductions in force, mergers and acquisitions and other workforce actions)
- Work with the HR Business Partners to ensure key HR processes are followed consistently and correctly and in line with relevant policy/guideline
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business discipline with minimum of 4 years of relevant Human Resources experience in a global organization
- Willingness to work in 12 pm - 9 pm shift, with flexibility to stretch based on business needs
- Prefer experience within the technology industries - in a matrix, global environment. Passionate about creating and sustaining high performing teams that work in a 24/7 environment
- Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel skills
