We are seeking an exceptional Research Lead to drive transformative policy research and strategic interventions.

What You'll Do
- Build and lead a research team in developing comprehensive policy analysis and intervention strategies.
- Develop actionable policy recommendations informed by robust data analysis.
- Collaborate with government agencies, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure impactful policy solutions.
- Act as an advisor to the Government of West Bengal, providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations on key policy initiatives.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, compelling policy briefs and strategic documents.
- Manage research budgets, timelines, and project deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Provide expert advisory services to government departments and policymaking bodies.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and interpret complex datasets to support policy innovation
What Youll Bring:
- Masters degree or PhD in Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of substantial experience in a lead position in government sector research or policy advisory roles.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing policy interventions.
- Strong data analysis skills with basic proficiency in statistical software (R, STATA, SPSS).
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in areas such as social welfare policy, economic development, public infrastructure policy, and foundational development.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience in multi-stakeholder engagement and consensus-building.
