Responsibilities:

- Recommend improvements to the daily workflow for a medium sized Cash and Trade Operations unit

- Recommend new work processes / technological improvements for cash management team in conjunction with identifying and resolving individual problems

- Carry-out non-routine cash and trade operations

- Evaluate performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, hiring, etc.

- Provide evaluative solutions for cash management issues based on analysis of information, precedent, and acquired technical experience

- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

- Processing of Financial & Non-Financial transactions through internal systems as per regulatory and client requirement

- Identify and resolve problems within the defined procedures

- Complete archiving of investor and client documentation ensuring a full audit trail exists for subsequent retrieval

- Provide management information and analysis

- Expected to work on initiatives/Ad-hoc requirements as per business needs

- Should be able to work independently but also need to be a good team player

- Should be able to identify process gaps & need to work as a trouble shooter

- Ability to support, guide & motivate team members

- Should have the ability to understand & handle complex queries

- Strong domain knowledge is essential & understanding of TA businesses

- Well versed with preparation and review of SOPs/Process flow charts

- Able to identify & implement various process controls

- Provide innovative ideas for process enhancements

- Provide feedback to team members in timely manner

- Should be the first point of contact for escalation & unresolved queries/issues

- Liaising with clients / other counterparts regarding escalation, issues and Service Level Agreements.

Qualifications:

- 8 years of overall work experience in the Financial services space with at least 5 years in Transfer Agency

- At least 2 years of People Management experience

- Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance

- Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills

- Effective management, influencing and relationship skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Responsible for meeting all client deliverables

- Ability to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions

- Ability to write messages in a clear and concise manner

- Interpersonal skills - Relationship builder, respectful and resolves problems

- Motivational skills - Performance standards, achieving results and persistent. Ability to drive the team in right direction with positive intent

- Innovative thinking - Creative thinking decision making, input seeking, logical thinking and solution finding

- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks

- Flexible enough to work in any shifts as per business needs

- Prior Transfer Agency processing experience is required

- Ability to perform maker & checker function in order to meet the client expectation

- Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines

- A good understanding of effective risk management

- Excellent planning and organization skills
