Education/Qualification Required:
Graduate/MBA: With 4 - 6 years of experience in business development/Client Acquisition.
Preferably: Experience in Insurance Sales. Individuals with prior experience in sales of banking products in a multiproduct environment.
Certifications: AMFI & IRDA
Role Outline/Job Summary:
- The insurance sales manager has to work with the various stakeholders to onboard insurance customers in line with the various processes and compliance and AML requirements.
- The incumbent would also be responsible for reviewing the performance of the various channels assigned to him and driving productivity in line with the assigned plan for the location.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Objectives:
- Responsibility for delivering the business and revenue plan
Sales Management:
- Team hiring, performance management and tracking, team allocation for optimum manpower utilization
- Activate new channel for lead flows and business fulfillment, manage and track channel performance and delivery
Team Management:
- To coach, mentor and motivate the team to enhance productivity, conduct training and refresher sessions
Compliance and control:
- Ensure that only approved sales solicitation and documentation process is being followed
- Resolve all customer complaints and queries
Work closely with the various business partners:
- Review effectiveness and fine tune tele-calling efforts to ensure the required intensity and depth
- Collate and analyze feedback
Work closely with the centralized tele-calling team, various channel partners(critical responsibility of the Mumbai resource):
- Manage the vendor and drive productivity for pan India business.
- Review effectiveness and fine tune tele-calling efforts to ensure the required intensity and depth
- Collate and analyze feedback
Work closely with the Insurance Product Team, Insurance backend and BSLI:
- Interact with the product team for preparing selling kits, marketing collateral to aid in sales
- Liaise with local BSLI Office to ensure adequate post sales support
