Cipla - Budget Planning & Governance Manager

- To support the India Business Strategy by analyzing competition, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors, sharing insights with business heads, and presenting key reflections to management.

- The role will also contribute to strategic projects to enhance physician and patient engagement.

Business Intelligence:

- Identify critical areas across businesses, recommending timely course corrections to improve sustainability and profitability.

- Analyze trends and advise on adjustments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

- Assess the health of the India Business in areas such as sales performance, marketing effectiveness, forecasting, budgetary controls, and HR health.

- Monitor market developments, competitor behaviors, and therapy-specific insights.

- Provide regular reports, including financials, sales flash, working capital, product profitability, and quarterly estimates.

Governance Mechanism:

- Manage governance and compliance of IB Head's office reviews, including sales planning, business calls, global reviews, board meeting preparations, and CXO updates.

- Drive analysis and provide insights to stakeholders for informed business decisions.

- Ensure effective monitoring tools and frameworks for periodical reviews and make course corrections when needed.

- Provide intelligence to the IB Head for monthly performance reviews across clusters and divisions.

Project Management:

- Assist in developing and driving strategic and tactical projects aligned with IB goals such as financial targets, market share, and operational efficiencies.

- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and successful outcomes.

Coordinate with external stakeholders (agencies, consultants) to address business challenges and enhance organizational capabilities.

Strategy Refresh & Budget Planning:

- Analyze competition, industry trends, and macroeconomic parameters specific to India markets.

- Lead strategic initiative recommendations across BUs for organizational growth.

- Oversee the organization's Long-Term Strategic Planning (LTSP).

- Lead the India-level budget planning for the upcoming financial year and track growth targets, identifying gaps.

- More than 4-5 years of experience in strategic business planning, budget management, and governance.

- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage senior stakeholders.
