Cipher-Plexus - Senior Associate - Investment Banking - PE/M&A

Objective: This role is to support the core Team of Investment Banking in Business Development and execution reporting to the Vice President / Director.

Profile Requirements :

- Chartered Accountant / CFA / MBA finance or any post-graduation in Finance or equivalent

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business development and execution in investment Banking (PE, M&A)

- Passion to Grow to be a holistic Investment banker with entrepreneurial and long-term approach

- Fundamental understanding of complex accounting, finance and capital markets, ability to understand and build financial models

- Familiarity with business valuation techniques, including comparable company and discounted cash flow analysis

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Extremely Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task; strong attention to detail; strong with numbers

- Speed in Research / Execution / Teasers, IM, Business Models, etc.

- Cognizance of the PE, M&A business / transaction process from start to end

Job Description:

- The candidate would work closely in a support role with the AVP &/VP &/Directors of the company and be involved across the lifecycle of the transaction

- Support in new business development by identifying bankable opportunities / prospects; Assist in various business endeavours

- Efficiently use available corporate / research database; Update the corporate presentations, company investor database, transactions database, analyze company financial statements and create financial models for client companies; Structuring, Valuation of companies using various valuation techniques

- Provide research input / market data with analysis. Landscaping, Research and analyze industry economics, market, and regulatory data as required to support sector coverage activities and transaction execution and ideation across sectors

- Support in live mandates across sectors as may be required

- Independently prepare teasers/pitch book/presentations/information Memorandums / Financial models, with quality output;

- Support in business and financial due diligence if required

- Support in setting up meetings with Client/investors/Business leads

- Follow business and organization processes of the company
