Job Description :

- As the leader of the Image Processing and Algorithms Team in Bangalore, you will work with a group of pragmatic visionaries and scientists that are leveraging machine learning to solve complex problems that no other company has. At present, we are chewing on the next generation embroidery digitization pipeline, image resolution enhancement and interactive image vectorization to name a few.

- We are seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Scientist to design and implement state-of-the-art solutions to extremely challenging problems. You will design and run experiments, research new algorithms while continuously striving to find new ways to enhance customer experience and deliver tangible business value.

- In this role you will provide the domain expertise and deliver solutions to help drive our culture of innovation and refusing to accept the status quo. You will help to continue disrupting the mass customization industry in a bid to fuel our growth beyond $3B in revenue.

- Our technology ecosystem contains dozens of micro-services, and is growing. Our services are C#/Node based, running in the AWS Cloud. Additional tools we use on a daily basis include Git, Jira, CodeDeploy, dynamoDB, Artifactory, Slack and Jenkins. We believe that having a diverse toolbox allows us to solve a larger array of challenges using the right tools, and that smart people will make smart decisions on which tools to use. We are constantly looking for new and interesting ways to solve problems.

In this role, you will:

- Leverage AI to solve problems that are unique to Cimpress

- Do cutting edge research that results in significant business value

- Help with hiring and leading a small team of top notch engineers

To be successful, you will need:

- Programming experience in C/C++, C#, Java, or Python.

- Solid machine learning background and familiarity with state-of-the-art techniques such as deep neural network

- A strong track record of innovating through machine learning and statistical algorithms and their applications

- Post graduate degree (Masters or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics

Highly desirable:

- Prior experience with Image processing and computer vision

- Formal education in machine learning concepts

- Software development expertise

- Proven track record of mentorship
