Position: Legal Manager - Litigation


Exp - 8 - 20 LPA


Education - Bachelors or Master's degree in Law.

Experience Yrs.- Minimum 5 years of experience in handling Litigation cases

Roles and Responsibilities

Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to understand the relevant laws, regulations, and precedents applicable to a case.

Case Analysis: Analyze facts, evidence, and legal issues to assess the strength of a case and develop strategies for litigation.

Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their legal needs, provide legal advice, and keep them informed about case developments.

Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other relevant legal paperwork.

Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients to resolve disputes without going to trial when appropriate.

Court Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals, presenting arguments and evidence effectively.

Witness Preparation: Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.

Evidence Gathering: Collect and organize evidence, interview witnesses, and work with investigators as necessary.

Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Case Management: Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.

Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and ethical standards in legal practice.

Client Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress, developments, and potential risks.

Cost Management: Manage the financial aspects of cases, including budgeting and cost control.

Legal Advice: Offer legal advice on a wide range of issues related to litigation, including risk assessment and potential legal consequences.

Continuing Legal Education: Stay updated with changes in the law and participate in continuing legal education to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

Alternative Dispute Resolution: Explore and engage in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation or arbitration, when appropriate.

Legal Documentation Management: Organize and maintain case files, documents, and correspondence in an orderly manner.

Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks associated with cases and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients' best interests while upholding ethical and professional standards.
