Key Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Monitoring:
- Continuously monitor the company's daily cash position.
- Analyze the inflows and outflows of cash to assess the current liquidity status.
Cash Flow Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts on a short-term and long-term basis.
- Identify potential cash flow gaps and surpluses, recommending adjustments as needed.
Budget vs. Actual Analysis:
- Compare actual cash flows with budgeted figures.
- Investigate variances and communicate findings to management.
Working Capital Management:
- Assess and manage working capital components such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels.
Payments:
- Timely execution of payments
Recommendations and Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on cash flow trends, highlighting any areas of concern.
- Make recommendations to optimize cash flow and liquidity management.
Banking Relationships:
- Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to optimize cash management solutions.
- Monitor and assess banking fees and services for cost-effectiveness.
Risk Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks to cash flow and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve cash flow management processes.
- Implement efficiency enhancements where necessary.
